Weekly Wrap-Up #135

My Weekly Wrap Up is my version of The Sunday Post hosted by Kim at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This weekly meme is a chance to share news about your blog, books and life. It is also a perfect opportunity to meet bloggers and add more books to your collection.

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a good week.  Life was busy since my last Sunday post. Last weekend we went to the Museum of Ice Cream in San Francisco.  We went with my sister and her kids and took BART (train) since we both didn’t want to drive in the city, so it was a long but fun day.  The museum is a fun display of everything ice cream and candy.  It reminded me of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, there was even a room with ice cream wallpaper but it wasn’t a scratch and sniff like in the movie lol. There was a sprinkles pool but they had to warn everyone not to eat them because they were plastic. The museum is an Instagram and Snapchat heaven, so many people were taking pictures there was a long wait at all the displays. They gave out free ice cream and candy to keep everyone happy.

Currently watching:

I’m still watching Outlander and I was dreading last week’s episode. I hate seeing Jamie with this character (I don’t want to spoil it if you haven’t read the books) but it’s done and now we are getting closer to Jamie and Claire’s reunion.

My husband and I love Star Trek so we started watching the new show Star Trek: Discovery. This show takes place 10 years before Captain Kirk and we aren’t sure yet if we like this new series. We aren’t a fan of the characters yet but we’ll have to watch more of the show.

What are you watching?

I hope you have a great week!

  1. The Ice Cream Museum in SF sounds like fun! I love SF, and also hate driving there. The train sounds like the perfect solution.

I’ve been watching the shows returned form hiatus, like Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How To Get Away with Murder.

Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

I hate the one-way streets and crazy drivers in SF lol. So I try to take the train whenever I can. Thanks Laurel-Rain and I hope you have a great week!

  2. I am behind on Outlander (only 1 episode), but I hope to fix that today. This whole season is sad, sad, sad. I need the reunion, stat! We had tried to go to the pop up ice cream museum in NYC, but were unable to. It looks like fun. I am excited to read Warcross this week. My co-blogger reviewed it (!!!), and she made it sound great. Hope you enjoy it too.

The tickets for the ice cream museum sold out fast so we were lucky to get some. I just finished Warcross and loved it. I hope you enjoy it too. Thanks Sam and hope you have a great week!

We rarely have anything fun here or have to drive far lol. Hopefully the museum (or something fun) will travel to a city near you! Warcross was good and I hope you enjoy it too! Thanks Michelle and I hope you have a great week too!

The museum is only here for a couple more weeks but you should come to SF for a visit!! Thanks Melanie and I hope you have a great week!

  3. The Ice Cream Museum sounds amazing! I can see where it’d be Instagram heaven. I love the pictures you showed. I haven’t watched Outlander but I’ve been wanting to because I’m hoping that will encourage me to read the books as their size has always scared me off! Have a great week!

The museum was a lot of fun!! Outlander is a great series but the books are long because of the historical facts. Some of it is interesting but I would skip over it lol. I hope you try either the books or the show. Thanks Katherine and I hope you have a great week!
