2017 COYER Summer Reading List

2017 COYER Summer Reading List

Progress: 12/5 (240%)
17 June, 2017 — 8 September, 2017

For this challenge I did a combination of traditional COYER and a reading list.  My goal was to read 5 books from a reading list. Unfortunately, I failed!  I only read 3 of the 5 books. This is the second time I failed with a reading list so I better stick with mood reading. But I did read 15 books, which I’m happy with!!

Here is the list of books I was supposed to read:

  1. Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo
  2. Wallbanger by Alice Clayton (did not read)
  3. Clam Jam by RC Boldt
  4. Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff (did not read)
  5. Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer

Here is what I read:

  1. The Director and Don Juan by Katy Regnery
  2. Want by Cindy Pon
  3. Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer
  4. Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare
  5. All or Nothing at All by Jennifer Probst
  6. Clam Jam by RC Boldt
  7. Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo
  8. Royally Romanov by Teri Wilson
  9. Irresistible You by Kate Meader
  10. Shear Heaven by Katy Regnery
  11. You Say It First by Susan Mallery
  12. East in Paradise by Tif Marcelo

Reviews coming soon:

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J Maas

I need to face it that I’m a mood reader. I haven’t done good with lists lol. You did great on the challenge!

  1. Wow, that is awesome that you read 12 out of 5 books! It doesn’t matter that they weren’t the same books you started with- especially since you might not have loved them as much if you forced yourself to read them! I find I am terrible with challenges- well, I should say, I always complete them, but I usually make myself read stuff I don’t want to and then get mad at the challenge, so I only do the Goodreads one. Congrats on reaching the goal!

Those on my list were books I’ve been wanting to read for a long time, but I guess I lost my motivation because it felt like I had to read them. Now I know not to create a list and just go with my mood lol. Thanks Shannon for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!
