Welcome to Day 2 of the Top 10 of 2016 Blog Hop! A huge thank you to our hosts TWO CHICKS ON BOOKS, FIKTSHUN, TALES OF A RAVENOUS READER and DARK FAERIE TALES!

Today’s list is the Best Book Covers of 2016. The book must be released in 2016. Would be best if it’s a book you’ve READ in 2016, but it’s not required.

It was hard to narrow down my list but these are the book covers that I loved from this years release.

Heartless by Marissa Meyer (my review)

A Shadow Bright And Burning by Jessica Cluess

The Reader by Traci Chee

Glitter by Aprilynne Pike

Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare (my review)

Empire of Storms by Sara J. Maas

A Million Worlds with You by Claudia Gray

Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton

The Creeping Shadow by Jonathan Stroud (my review)

Recreated by Colleen Houck

That’s my list!  What was your favorite book cover from this year?

I really liked Eric Lindstrom’s Not If I See You First. It had a blind main female and the romance was so subtle that it snuck up on you. Also liked A Madness So Discreet and The Female of The Species by Mindy McGinnis. Both of those were unique stories with unusual female characters.

Not If I See You First sounds really good and I just added it to my TBR. Thank you Tammy for stopping by and good luck!

I hope to read both books in 2017, hopefully before their sequels are released. I am so behind on my TBR lol. Thank you Alyssa Susanna for stopping by!

  2. Awesome covers, I like Lady Midnight the best maybe but A Million worlds is also quite good. Great list!

I think my favorite of the year was maybe the Long Way To A Small Angry Planet. Although The Immortals or City of the Lost were good too.

YA books have the greatest covers and it was hard to narrow down my list lol. Long Way To A Small Angry Planet has a great cover and sounds really good. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks Greg!

I love her books but I haven’t read Recreated yet. I am so behind on my TBR, my favorite authors are writing too fast lol.

I saw the Owlcrate exclusive and missed out! But I love my hardcover edition of Heartless. I need more shelf space to buy books lol.
