Weekly Wrap-Up #106

My Weekly Wrap Up is my version of The Sunday Post hosted by Kim at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This weekly meme is a chance to share news about your blog, books and life. It is also a perfect opportunity to meet bloggers and add more books to your collection.

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a good week.

This was another busy week and the weather has been crazy. On Monday it rained but then the rest of the week it’s been hot. The weather is going to be crazy again next week starting at 90 degrees then dropping to the 60’s with rain. I just wish it would make up its mind if it wants to be hot or cold already. Work was busy as usual but this week I was preparing for our annual conference. I teamed up with two other managers to lead an activity for about 100 people. I get nervous talking in front of a big crowd but luckily another manager volunteered to do all the talking. I assisted by handing out the material and making sure everyone understood the instructions. The conference was a success and everyone I talked to thought the topics we covered were interesting and informative. Now I can relax until next year and hope I don’t get volunteered (or as we joke around and call it voluntold lol) to do an activity.

The blog was quiet this week. I’m behind on writing my reviews and posts. My computer is running so slow again it is driving me crazy. I have to save up for a MacBook. Fingers crossed we get a bonus next year for me to use lol. The following next two weeks might be quiet on my blog. I am migrating my blog to Ashley @ Nose Graze’s hosting service and it might two weeks to complete. I can’t wait to change to her hosting service. I’ve heard great things about her hosting service and I already love her plugins. I’ll be so glad to leave my current host which has been a problem this last year.

  1. Hi! I followed you over here from Grace’s blog. 🙂 I LOVE my Macbook and I hope your saving goes well because it’s worth the cost. My constipated PC at work drives me nuts! I’ve read all of the Outlander series and enjoyed Written. Happy reading and blogging! <3

Hi Jennifer! I really need to get a MacBook. My PC is working so slow I walk away and it still hasn’t taken me to where I need to go lol. I love Outlander and I can’t wait for the next book. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

  2. I never like being “voluntold” either- great term by the way! Glad you survived the conference. 🙂 I hope your weather calms down a bit- we’ve been 70’s during the day but it’s definitely cooling at night.

Good luck with the hosting change! Can’t wait to see what you think of Bloodline.

Now that the conference is over I feel better and can relax lol. 70’s sounds really good right now. Thanks Greg for stopping by and have a great week!

  3. It sounds like you had a decent week! I’m so glad you didn’t get stuck talking to a crowd! I’m way behind on my blog too and I definitely need to catch up as soon as possible! Have a great week!

  4. We’ve had cooler weather, but then it started to heat up again during the day, but be cool at night. I kept getting caught out without a sweater. I can’t wait for more consistent Fall weather. Hope your new hosting situation works much better for you.

  5. My weather sounds similar to yours. It kind of looks like fall but sure doesn’t feel like it. I’m not complaining as I still get to enjoy the pool:)

  6. Good luck with the move. Managed hosting is nice if you’re ok with not being able to make changes on your own and a godsend if you want someone else to do it 🙂 I hope you avoid speaking next year as well. I get super nervous, but once I start I am fine ..LOL

  7. I’m glad your work presentation went well and you didn’t have to talk! I’m getting more used to talking in front of crowds, but it’s never my favorite thing!

  8. I am glad we had consistent weather for a change, it’s been nice autumn weather, cool, but not too cold. Your weather sounds crazy with the rain and then hot again.
That’s nice someone else wanted to do the talking. I also don’t like talking for big groups of people.
Good luck with the hosting transfer! I hope everything goes smoothly! have a great week!
