My Weekly Wrap Up is my version of The Sunday Post hosted by Kim at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This weekly meme is a chance to share news about your blog, books and life. It is also a perfect opportunity to meet bloggers and add more books to your collection.
Hi everyone! I hope you all had a good week.
It’s been a long time since I’ve had a Weekly Wrap Up post. I took a mini break from the blog since this time of year is always busy. Work is crazy as usual. We are close to our live date for our new software so my days are filled with meetings after meetings. One day I had back to back meetings from 9 am to 4 pm, only getting a quick break in between to grab my lunch from the break room to eat during the next meeting. But all this stress will be worth it since our current system is so ancient and we are limited to what we can do with it. My family schedule has also been crazy this last month. After Mother’s Day we then had birthdays and school activities. I’m really proud of my daughters. They worked really hard this school year and ended it with great grades. My oldest daughter Tyler Marie graduated from High School on Wednesday and it was an emotional day for me. I started feeling emotional when she put on her cap and gown but the tears came when I gave her a lei I made for her. I made her two leis, one in her schools colors and another in her favorite color pink. I made money flowers and added buttons to the pink lei. The buttons are of her favorite things: BB-8 (Star Wars), Melanie Martinez (singer), Panic at the Disco (band), and Bob’s Burger (TV show). The Disney movie Up is one of our favorite movies and I found a button that said “Adventure is Out There”. I also found a button that said “You are here” with an arrow pointing to a heart. I wanted her to always remember how much we love her. I was really surprised when she started crying after seeing the leis. Of course I started to cry! I stayed up late the night before to finish the leis and it was worth it to see her reaction. I can’t believe how fast the time flew by and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her. Here are some pictures from her graduation.
Even though I haven’t had a lot of posts I still have been reading and writing my reviews. But we just bought a new videogame Overwatch and I’m really tempted to start playing this. But since my husband and daughters are also playing this I have a long time to wait for a turn on the Xbox. Here is a trailer and the graphics of the actual game are really good.

Last weeks Outlander episode was heartbreaking. Since season 2 started this was the episode I was bracing myself for. I cried when I read this part of the book. I was bawling my eyes out when I watched the episode. In the book Claire doesn’t get to say goodbye to Faith so it was really emotional to see the scenes. I think it was a smart move for the shows writers because now we really get a feel of Claire and Jamie’s pain and how their love grows stronger.
To add to my emotional weekend I watched Games of Thrones. Hodor!!! I can’t believe last weeks episode and so many of the good guys are having bad luck lol. But I couldn’t help but laugh at the chemistry between Brienne and Tormund. I wonder what will happen with these two lol.
How was your week?
