Weekly Wrap-Up #62

Posted July 26, 2015 by Kathy in Wrap-Up / 12 Comments

My Weekly Wrap Up is my version of The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

It’s been another busy week at work. On Friday I took the day off for my oldest daughter’s appointment to take her Senior portraits. She had her hair styled at the beauty salon and she looked really pretty. I tried not to cry when they took pictures of her in the cap and gown. It really sank in that she is going to be graduating high school next year! I know I’ll be a mess on her graduation day but I won’t have to worry about it until next year lol.

Here is what happened last week on the blog:

Here is what is happening this week on the blog:

FitReaders Update

 FitReaders2015

I did nothing this week! I worked 10 hour days and didn’t have time go to the gym during the week. We are getting a new manager so I have a feeling I won’t be able to go to the gym during lunch anymore. I am changing my work schedule so I’m going to try to workout in the mornings since I have been so tired after work to do anything. Hopefully I can do this because I need to exercise to help with my blood pressure. Wish me luck!!

Around The Blogosphere

Michelle @ Book Briefs post #BloggingOnATimeCrunch : Time Management has great tips. Work has been crazy so I have been struggling with keeping up with blogging. I’m going to try some of Michelle’s tips.

How was your week?

Thanks Tracy! So far I’ve been working out in the morning and it does feel good to be back on track =)

  1. I hope your next week is less busy! Getting your daughter’s pictures taken, sound fun, but I guess it really brings down the point how soon she’s graduating already.
I stopped by some of Book Briefs her post about blogging on a time crunch and they were really helpfull! I hope you have a great week!

Thanks Kathryn and it is going well so far. I’m so used to getting up early so it’s a nice use of my time in the mornings.

  2. Sorry to hear about the long work hours! One way to get some steps in is to set an alarm to go off every 1.5-2 hours, get up and move around the office for 5 minutes. You’ll be surprised how many more steps you work into your day. But that doesn’t help with gym time. I hope you figure something out soon!

That’s a great tip Jen! Sometimes I get stuck at my desk because of meetings or research so moving around for 5 minutes would be a nice break =)

Thanks Tiffany! So far the working out in the morning is doing good. I’m so used to getting up early so I might as well use the extra time to work out.
