#FitReaders Check-in 10

#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog and That’s What I’m Talking About . This is a great way to motivate each other to get and stay moving!

I was out of town last week so I didn’t have a post.  But for 3 days I was a chaperone for my daughter’s camping trip.  All 3 days we went on hikes so I got a good workout.  But I am now on high blood pressure medicine that makes me dizzy so I have been only able to walk on some days.  I see the doctor next week so hopefully by blood pressure has gone lower.

Here is what I did last week:

  • Wednesday (3/4) – hiking
  • Thursday (3/5) – hiking
  • Friday (3/6) – hiking
  • Monday (3/9) – walking DVD (30 minutes)
  • Wednesday (3/11) – 20 minute walk with my husband and our dog
  • Thursday (3/12) – 20 minute walk with my husband and our dog

This week I earned $6 toward books I can purchase. Total so far is $22!

  1. A very active week … good on you!! I’ve been on blood pressure medication since I was 17 and I know with every change in dose or medication I feel blah for a couple of weeks. Hope the dizziness settles and medication does the job 🙂

      Thanks! That is good to know! I do feel better now and drinking a lot of water has helped =)
