Bookish-Resolution-Challenge-375x375

Laura of Trips Down Imagination Road and Michelle of Because Reading is Better than Real Life are hosting the 2015 Bookish Resolutions Challenge.  What makes this different from other challenges is that you can mix your blog goals with personal goals.

Resolution #1 – Have 2 discussion posts per month

I had 2 discussion posts this month.  I’ve been participating in the Book Blogger Hop hosted by the Coffee Addicted Writer but I am planning on using my own discussion topic.

Resolution #2 – Increase my Netgalley ratio by 20%

My approval ratio went up 3% points.  I read 3 ARCs and didn’t request any new ones (which was really hard to do!). But so far for this goal I have increased my ratio 5%, so 15% to go!!

Resolution #3 – Finish a series

I finally decided to finish His Fair Assassin series by Robin LaFevers to meet this goal.  I didn’t read the 2nd book in March but I do plan on reading it in April.

Resolution #4 – Visit & comment 4 blogs per week

I’ve been doing good with this.  If a post catches my eye from my Bloglovin email I visit the blog right away, rather than trying to remember to go on another day.

Resolution #5 – lose 10 pounds and lower my blood pressure

I have lost 2 pounds this month!  I joined a gym with my co-workers and we go on our lunch break. I want to go 5 days a week unless we have meetings.

My blood pressure on February 24 was 150/70.  On March 17 it was 123/78!! I’m still on blood pressure medicine, drinking a lot of water, eating right and exercising more.

I always have to look up what the numbers mean so here is blood pressure levels for an adult:
