Wedding hookups never amount to anything.

Those who partake in this wicked little activity know the rules. Get in. Get laid. Get out. There's no expectation of a relationship. It is what it is.

Dylan Sparks knows the rules. She’s familiar with the protocol. And she engages in the best sex of her life with a complete stranger at her ex-boyfriend’s wedding.

Reese Carroll doesn’t care about the rules. He wants more than just one night with Dylan.

And Dylan finds him too addicting to pass up.

Sweet Addiction is the story of one woman’s struggle to keep things casual, and one man’s desire to never let her go.

My Review 4

This was a sexy story but I thought this was just ok.

What did I like?

I did like the plot. The story of Dylan and Reese hooking up at a wedding reception was hot and led to some interesting twists in the story. I also really liked Joey, Dylan’s flamboyant best friend and assistant. He was hilarious and deserves to be bumped up from supporting character to main character!

What didn’t I like?

The pace of the story was slow because there were too many sex scenes. The first sex scenes were hot but after a while I wanted more focus on the main characters that didn’t involve sex. I can’t decide if I liked or hated Dylan and Reese because for me there wasn’t enough interaction outside of the bedroom for me to form an opinion. And that was the problem for this couple – they didn’t talk to each other! This led to misunderstandings that could have been easily resolved if they talked to each other!

This is the first book in the series but I’ll pass on the next book.

This was read for COYER scavenger hunt to fulfill #25 (meets #10, 15 & 20)

I’m all for hot & steamy stories but I think this book had too many sex scenes for the amount of pages it was. I had just finished Beautiful Bastard and that had a lot of sex and arguing between the characters but there was more to it than that. I guess I just wasn’t in the mood for Sweet Addiction lol. Thanks Kat!
