Winter #COYER Dream Cast Challenge & Giveaway

Posted January 23, 2015 by Kathy in Giveaway, Reading Challenge / 14 Comments

Welcome to my mini-challenge for COYER Winter 2014-2015. I have a lot of fun doing creative posts for books.  One post I really enjoy doing is creating a dream cast. When I really enjoy a book I can imagine who would be the perfect cast if it was ever made into a movie or TV show.  So for my mini-challenge I want to know who you would cast for your favorite book.

Here are some of my favorite dream casts that I have created:

Thronos, Dark Skye by Kresley Cole

Erik Lindstrom, Midsummer Sweetheart by Katy Regnery

Now it is your turn!  Who you would cast for your favorite book?

The Giveaway is:

A $10 eBook shopping spree at Amazon or Barnes & Noble

Open Internationally

You can choose 1 eBook OR multiple eBooks, as long as the total value is not more than $10 (US dollars).  International friends you can visit the US Amazon or US Barnes & Noble to shop!

In order to participate you must be signed up for COYER.  One of the Rafflecopter entries is to enter your Linky # from the COYER sign-up post.  Here is the post to find your #.

Thanks Berls! I hope you get a chance to read these. They are both great stories, a paranormal and a contemporary, so they are both fun in their own special way =)

  1. Oh my goodness, Kathy! The guy you chose for Thronos is HOT! And I don’t know who he is… so now I’m sad!!
Usually, for my favorite male leads, I also picture either Alex Skarsgaard, he is so yummy it’s not even funny, or Ian Somerhalder, I love his eyes – and everything else, too. And it actually also happens in some sexy romances that I picture my husband… I know it’s cheesy, but it’s true. And I’m not sharing a picture of him!
Have a great weekend, and happy reading.

Lexxie that is David Gandy, he’s a English model. Isn’t he gorgeous?! I’ve also imagined Ian in some books because of his eyes and the intense character he plays on Vampire Diaries. It’s great your husband fits the role! That adds more excitement to the story lol!

I am going to choose the book Nine Minutes by Beth Flynn. It’s about a girl Ginny who was “kidnapped” by a motorcycle guy, Grizz.

For Grizz I will choose “True Blood” star Joe Manganiello.
For Ginny I will choose Vampire Academy’s Zoey Deutch.
For Grunt I will choose Ian Harding from Pretty Little Liars.

I haven’t read this book but I love the idea of Joe as a character! Thanks for entering and good luck!

David Gandy is gorgeous and I found out about him from the authors. Good luck with finding a cast =)

  3. Hard to choose my favorite book, but let’s go with Matthew Clairmont in A Discovery of Witches. First choice: either Richard Armitage or Aidan Turner. Runner-up: Ben Barnes, now that he’s matured a bit (phsyically, I mean; I don’t have a clue what he’s like as a person.)

These are all great choices! I haven’t read this book yet but all these actors were great in fantasy films! Thanks for entering and good luck!

  4. Oh I am never good at dream cast…lol. I don’t ever really picture actors while I read a book. I will go with Falconer since it has been one of my favorites for this year. Umm Lady Aileana maybe Emma Roberts, Kiaran could be Ian Somerhalder and Gavin could be Liam Hemsworth. 🙂 That really made my brain hurt trying to think of people…lol. 🙂
