When Grace Luff's children send her to a Silver Wings weekend at a luxury resort, they are hoping that the 56-years-young widow will meet a man to lift the loneliness she's endured since the passing of her husband over three years before.

Grace, who barely remembers how to date, doesn't expect to meet anyone, and skips the conference in lieu of fresh air and exercise. She's surprised when the owner of a local ski rental shop, Tray Bradshaw, makes her heart leap with interest and attraction.

When a rogue snowstorm traps the pair in an abandoned cabin on top of the mountain, they'll get to know each other, and discover that it's never too late to change...or fall in love.

My Review 4

Frosted is another sweet, second chances romance from author Katy Regnery.  Unlike her other stories, Grace and Tray are in their 50’s and have both lost their spouses. But their age is not important to their story.  What is important is the fear of starting over. Whether it is due to the death of your spouse or partner, a breakup or divorce, or even a change in your career, we can all relate to the fear and doubts of starting over.  Grace is from high society and Tray owns a rental ski shop. They come from different lifestyles but they both have dealt with loss. Despite their age and social class these are characters I grew to love.  Even though this is a novella it did not feel rushed and I was completely satisfied with the time I spent with Grace and Tray. I connected with these characters and enjoyed the romance (sweet and just the right amount of heat) and emotions of their story.

Frosted is a great romance story where the focus is on the personal growth of the characters and having a second chance at love. I highly recommend Frosted to romance readers looking for a quick and uplifting story.

About Katy Regnery

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katy Regnery started her writing career by enrolling in a short story class in January 2012. One year later, she signed her first contract and Katy’s first novel was published in September 2013.

Twenty-five books later, Katy claims authorship of the multi-titled, New York Times and USA Today Blueberry Lane Series, which follows the English, Winslow, Rousseau, Story, and Ambler families of Philadelphia; the six-book, bestselling ~a modern fairytale~ series; and several other standalone novels and novellas.

Katy’s first modern fairytale romance, The Vixen and the Vet, was nominated for a RITA® in 2015 and won the 2015 Kindle Book Award for romance. Katy’s boxed set, The English Brothers Boxed Set, Books #1–4, hit the USA Today bestseller list in 2015, and her Christmas story, Marrying Mr. English, appeared on the list a week later. In May 2016, Katy’s Blueberry Lane collection, The Winslow Brothers Boxed Set, Books #1-4, became a New York Times E-book bestseller.

In 2016, Katy signed a print-only agreement with Spencerhill Press. As a result, her Blueberry Lane paperback books will now be distributed to brick and mortar bookstores all over the United States.

Katy lives in the relative wilds of northern Fairfield County, Connecticut, where her writing room looks out at the woods, and her husband, two young children, two dogs, and one Blue Tonkinese kitten create just enough cheerful chaos to remind her that the very best love stories begin at home.
