Here is my monthly update for the challenges I am participating this year.

The COYER (Clean Out Your E-Reader) Challenge is hosted by Berls of Fantasy is More Fun and Michelle from Because Reading is More Fun. This challenge runs from December 20 to March 6 and it is limited to e-books and audiobooks that are FREE or NEARLY FREE.

My goal is to read & review at least 30 books (15 must be from my Netgalley ARCs).  Here is what I’ve read so far:

  1. Frosted by Katy Regnery
  2. Princess of Thorns by Stacey Jay (Netgalley)
  3. Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven (Netgalley)
  4. Romancing the Duke by Tessa Dare
  5. The Hunger by Donna Grant
  6. The Craving by Donna Grant
  7. Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren (review coming soon)
  8. Sweet Addiction by J. Daniels (review coming soon)

8 books read, of which 2 were Netgalley ARCs. I had a slow start for this challenge because of the holidays so I am getting worried I might not make my goal. I’ll do my best to get at least close to 30 books.

2015 Reading Assignment

The 2015 Reading Assignment Challenge is hosted by Berls of Fantasy is More Fun and Michelle of Because Reading is More Fun.  With this challenge you set a goal of how many books you read each month and which books you will read for the year.

My goal is Reading Level 4 – 36 books (3 books/month)

Here is what I read from my list for January:

  1. Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren (review coming soon)
  2. Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven
  3. Princess of Thorns by Stacey Jay

Bookish-Resolution-Challenge-375x375

Laura of Trips Down Imagination Road and Michelle of Because Reading is Better than Real Life are hosting the 2015 Bookish Resolutions Challenge.  What makes this different from other challenges is that you can mix your blog goals with personal goals.

Resolution #1 – Have 2 discussion posts per month

I only had 1 post this month but I did have a discussion in my Sunday Weekly Wrap Ups.  But I will get more organized for February so I can schedule 2 discussion posts.

Resolution #2 – Increase my Netgalley ratio by 20%

So far I’ve reviewed 2 ARCs so my ratio went up 2%.  This is going to be a slow process and really hard to stay away from requesting new ARCs.  But I’ve been good so far since I am trying to focus on the ARCs I have from giveaways or conventions.

Resolution #3 – Finish a series

I haven’t decided yet which series I want to read. I have some books for February that I plan to read so hopefully from these I can decide which series to focus on this year.

Resolution #4 – Visit & comment 4 blogs per week

I’ve been doing ok with this.  If a post catches my eye from my Bloglovin email I visit the blog right away, rather than trying to remember to go on another day.

Resolution #5 – lose 10 pounds

I haven’t lost any weight yet.  I’ve been eating better but I haven’t been working out as hard as I should.  For February I plan to look for a class (maybe Zumba) to sign up for.

2015 New-Release-Challenge-450x450

The 2015 New Release Challenge is hosted by Lexie at Unconventional Book Views and Stormi at Books, Movies, Reviews! Oh My!

My goal is New Release Pro (16 to 30 books)

Here is what I read so far:

  1. Frosted by Katy Regnery
  2. Burned by Karen Marie Moning

How are you doing on your challenges?
