My Weekly Wrap Up is my version of The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Merry Christmas! I hope you all had a nice Christmas. I had a nice holiday but it went so fast. All the stress of buying gifts and cooking was worth it but I wish it could have lasted longer. For my side of the family we celebrated my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary so it was a double celebration. The food was yummy and of course I over ate. I did have to work on Friday so we didn’t stay as long as we could have, but it was nice seeing all my family.
What did you all get for Christmas?? I got ebooks and a 2015 calendar from my COYER Secret Santa and I also got Ashley’s Tweak Me 2 and UBB Reading Challenge plug-in. I set up the Reading Challenge plug-in (you can see it on the right side of the blog) and I’m waiting until January to do the Tweak Me 2 (I need a day when I can spend the whole day on the blog).
Last week I participated in the Top 10 of 2014 blog hop. It was a lot of fun visiting other blogs and I can’t wait to do it again next year. But I hope they plan next years on a different week. Because of Christmas it was harder to visit all the blogs, but I plan to continue to visit them during this week.
Here is what happened last week on the blog:
- Top 10 of 2014 (Day 5) – The 2015 Books We’re Looking Forward To
- Top 10 of 2014 (Day 4) – Best Book Boyfriends of 2014
- Top 10 of 2014 (Day 3) – Best Villains of 2014
- Top 10 of 2014 (Day 2) – Best Book Covers of 2014
- Top 10 of 2014 (Day 1) – Best Books I’ve Read in 2014
Since I had a lot of fun creating my Top 10 posts I got to thinking about all the other great things about 2014.
Here is what I will be posting this week:
- A Year in Review – 2014 Family Moments
- A Year in Review – 2014 Favorite TV, Movie & Music
- A Year in Review – 2014 Author Events & Conventions
- ARC Book Review – Frosted by Katy Regnery
- 2015 Bookish Resolutions Challenge (Goals Post)
I’m still reading Stolen Fury by Elisabeth Naughton (this doesn’t count for any challenge). The COYER challenge officially started on December 20 but I won’t be starting the challenge until January 1. That way the books I read will qualify for COYER and the 2015 Reading Assignment Challenge.
On January 1 I’ll begin:
Though she looks like a mere mortal, Princess Aurora is a fairy blessed with enhanced strength, bravery, and mercy yet cursed to destroy the free will of any male who kisses her. Disguised as a boy, she enlists the help of the handsome but also cursed Prince Niklaas to fight legions of evil and free her brother from the ogre queen who stole Aurora’s throne ten years ago.
Will Aurora triumph over evil and reach her brother before it’s too late? Can Aurora and Niklaas break the curses that will otherwise forever keep them from finding their one true love?

Book Soul Mates is hosting another #BSMPhotoaday challenge. Here is January’s schedule and this time there is a giveaway! This looks like fun but can someone explain #6 “Book and Lippy”?? I guess I’ll have to wait to see what everyone else posts so I figure this out lol.
I finally joined Tsu and you are welcome to send me a friend request!
I wish you all a safe and Happy New Year!!
