It has been 2 weeks since my last Book Blog Walkers post. Work has been crazy so I haven’t had a lot of free time for posts. I have been walking during the last two weeks but this week was a challenge – I went with my daughter for a camping trip and I was exhausted with the hikes. I completed the hikes but I was out of breath and it was an eye-opener for how out of shape I am! So I need to be better. The camping trip was cut short because of a storm that was approaching but the school does plan on resuming the trip in March. I have to be in better shape for the next trip!!
Here is what I did this week:
Sunday – 3 hours of walking (we went to the mall for Christmas shopping)
Monday (first day of our trip) – 10,749 steps. We spent half of the day at Bodega Bay & it was raining. So walking in the sand while raining was a good workout!
Tuesday (second day of our trip) – 13,307 steps. We had 3 hikes this day!
Wednesday (third day of our trip) – 6,278 steps. We only had 1 hike since we had to go home.
