Weekly Wrap-Up 26

Posted October 26, 2014 by Kathy in Wrap-Up / 10 Comments

My Weekly Wrap Up is my version of The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

This was another busy week for me.  I was so tired I wasn’t able to visit other blogs so I need to catch up on all that I missed.  But my youngest daughter is now on break from school until December, her school is on a year-round schedule so it works out to having a month off every 3 months.  So this means no homework for us and more time for me to read and blog!!

Here is what happened last week on the blog:

This week on the blog:

  • Shifter After Dark release day blitz
  • Balance Broken Blog Tour – review, dream cast & Bookish Mood Board
  • Book Looks
  • Book Blog Walkers Check-in
  • Netgalley November goals post – check out K-Books for the details

Currently reading:

Seduced by Stratton “Seduced by Stratton” is the fourth of six books about the Philadelphia-based, wildly-handsome English brothers who are all on the look-out for love.

Stratton English, the hottest, youngest, most devastatingly handsome CFO in Philadelphia, has a problem: women make him nervous. Really nervous. Catastrophically nervous. Socially awkward to an extreme, he’s apt to blurt out the first thing that comes to mind, and it’s rarely something a woman wants to hear. Quietly in love with his neighbor, Amy, he has no idea how to make his move, but he is committed to figuring out a way to seduce her.

Valeria Campanile, who Stratton knows through one of his four brothers, is a PhD candidate who moonlights as a dance instructor on the side. Ironically, even though Val studies Courtship Rituals, she can’t seem to find herself courted. Pursued by boys from the “old neighborhood” who promise to overlook the fact that she’s so smart, she longs to meet someone who romances her mind as well as her heart.

When Stratton helps Valeria with a financial problem, she is anxious to return the favor. But will Stratton, who needs Val’s expertise to win Amy, find himself seducing Val instead?

Currently watching:

We are still watching Once Upon A Time (ABC), Gotham (Fox), Sleepy Hollow (Fox) & The Vampire Diaries (CW), The Flash (CW) and Arrow (CW), which are all really good (so far)!

We tried watching Constantine (NBC) on Friday but it was at 10 pm here. My husband and I both fell asleep but they should be replaying it soon.

How was your week?

  1. I hardly saw the blogosphere this week, just a busy week. Hope you enjoy your time off from homework. 🙂 Those shows all sound good, we’ve seen a few episodes here and there but nothing consistent. Maybe we can get back on track this week!

I love how Crane is adapting to modern day technology. I love the friendship between he and Abby, so it really is a great show. The year round schedule is great but this is her last year. Once she is in middle school she goes to traditional schedule will be hard for her to adapt to. But it will be nice to have both my daughters on the same schedule. Thanks Katherine!!

I’m addicted to TV and reading so it’s hard to balance the two. That’s why I get so behind on everything lol. Thanks for stopping by!
