My Weekly Wrap Up is my version of The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Last week was busy as usual with family and work. But Thursday was really exciting because I went to the book signing for Marie Lu. I had just finished her book The Young Elites so I got a chance to briefly talk to her about it. My weekend was busy because of a wedding on Saturday and then my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday (this is why this post is late). So I had no time to relax or read this weekend. I’m already counting the days until next weekend!
Here is what happened last week on the blog:
- Marie Lu Book Signing
- Book Blog Walkers Check-in 34
- Book Looks Halloween Edition – The Fall
- Losing Track Book Blitz & Giveaway
- The Secret Diamond Sisters Book Blitz & Giveaway
- ARC Book Review – The Young Elites
This week on the blog:
- Michelle Dare release day blitz
- Book Looks
- Bookish Mood Board
- Book Blog Walkers Check-in
I had started reading Stitching Snow by R.C. Lewis last week but I couldn’t concentrate on the story. So I’ve stopped it for now and plan to read it again soon. Now I’m reading Balance Broken by Hilary Thompson for a upcoming blog tour. I’m loving this so far so it was smart to switch books.
Instagram Photo Challenge
I am still participating in the #BSMPhotoaday challenge created by Book Soulmates and co-hosted by Bookcrastinators. Here are my photos for day 11 to 18:
Day 11 – Browsing in the library. I didn’t have time to go to the library but here is a picture of the outside.
Day 12 – Fave TV lineup
Day 13 – Bookish accessories
Day 14 – A haunted ghost read
Day 15 – Goodreads 2014 Reaching Challenge progress
Day 16 – Bookish Costume: this year I am dressing up as a Merlotte’s waitress from the Sookie Stackhouse series. I found a bottle of Trublood to carry with me.
Day 17 – New favorite song
Day 18 – Books and leaves
We are still watching Once Upon A Time (ABC), Gotham (Fox), Sleepy Hollow (Fox) & The Vampire Diaries (CW), The Flash (CW) and Arrow (CW), which are all really good (so far)!
How was your week?
