(US winners have a choice of prize)

US and International prize – any ebook from Amazon or Barnes & Noble valued up to $10. Multiple ebooks can be selected as long as the total value is up to $10.

US only – an ARC of The Deep by Nick Cutter (Adult Horror genre – releasing January 13, 2015)

The DeepFrom the acclaimed author of The Troop—which Stephen King raved “scared the hell out of me and I couldn’t put it down.…old-school horror at its best”—comes this utterly terrifying novel where The Abyss meets The Shining.

A strange plague called the ’Gets is decimating humanity on a global scale. It causes people to forget—small things at first, like where they left their keys…then the not-so-small things like how to drive, or the letters of the alphabet. Then their bodies forget how to function involuntarily…and there is no cure. But now, far below the surface of the Pacific Ocean, deep in the Marianas Trench, an heretofore unknown substance hailed as “ambrosia” has been discovered—a universal healer, from initial reports. It may just be the key to a universal cure. In order to study this phenomenon, a special research lab, the Trieste, has been built eight miles under the sea’s surface. But now the station is incommunicado, and it’s up to a brave few to descend through the lightless fathoms in hopes of unraveling the mysteries lurking at those crushing depths…and perhaps to encounter an evil blacker than anything one could possibly imagine.

  1. October and fall actually make me kind of sad because I’m a summer girl. I love the heat! No amount of fuzzy scarves, sweaters, and pumpkin lattes can fill the void of summer for me, sadly. But I do love the holidays! That is the major upswing for me. Thanks for the giveaway!!!

I’ll miss the summer too but not the 100 degree weather we get!! So I’m happy it will cool down. Thanks for entering Sierra and good luck!

  2. I love EVERYTHING about this time of year, It is my fave season, my fave holiday, everything! Things just seem to get spookier this time of year, too! I am a horror buff, and love to be scared!

It is fun to watch all the scary movies this time of year!! Thanks for entering Lori and good luck!

I love this weather too! It’s been in the 100 degrees here so I can’t wait for it to cool down. Thanks for entering and good luck!

  3. I really love the weather and I hope to be able to enjoy camping now that it is not so hot this year. We live in the south so that means fall is our time to spend outdoors.

It really gets hot here too so it will be nice to get outdoors. Thanks for entering and good luck!

I love that too!! For the trick-or-treaters I pick out all the candy I love before I give them away lol. Thanks for entering and good luck!

  4. More than anything, I like that Fall has officially arrived and the trees are turning. It is incredibly gorgeous time of year! And honestly? I LOVE the influx of scary stories that we see around this time. I am a huge fan of horror, but I don’t see a lot of truly scary horror until October rolls around!

  5. I really love the cooler weather and all of the buildup for the holiday season beginning with the Halloween festivities. It is such a fun and joyful time full of giggles and fun. Thank you for participating in this fun hop!

  6. I love everything about October. The weather, the colors, The start of the holiday season. Most of all I love Halloween and the all the decorations and being able to dress up!

  7. I *love* the crisp air and the gorgeous autumn colors all over the place! Back home, fall had an extra perk in that the skies tended to be clearer, so I could stargaze 🙂 Out here, you can’t beat a sunshiny day with this cooler air. Everyone knows I’m so much happier now than in summer – my docs all joke around about how happy I must be that it’s no longer in the 70s or above!

  8. Besides Halloween (my favorite holiday), I love the cooler temps, shorter days, golden-orange sunlight, bright leaves, and the opportunity to eat and drink everything pumpkin-flavored that I can get my hands on.
