COYER Summer Wrap Up

The COYER Summer Vacation challenge is officially over and I had a great time.  This was my first time participating COYER and it was a lot of fun. Not only did I tackle my ARCs and bookshelf but I met a lot of wonderful bloggers.

I originally didn’t set a goal but I am really surprised with how many books I read.  Since it was summer my reading schedule was crazy but I was able to read 18 books.  I have 2 reviews that will be posted later for blog tours but over all I am really happy with what I accomplished.

Here is what I read:

ARCs (Netgalley or Blog Tours)

  1. ARC Book Review – Pieces of Olivia by Melissa West
  2. ARC Book Review – Accidentally Married On Purpose by Rachel Harris
  3. ARC Book Review – The Diamond Thief by Sharon Gosling
  4. ARC Book Review – Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater
  5. ARC Book Review: Night’s Deep Hush (Reveler #4) by Erin Kellison
  6. ARC Book Review: Hot Secrets by Lisa Renee Jones
  7. ARC Book Review – Trial by Fire by Josephine Angelini
  8. Blog Tour Review – Of High Treason by Ember Shane
  9. Blog Tour Review – Anyone but Alex by Katy Regnery (review coming soon)
  10. Blog Tour Review – Garden of Ashes by Kate Cowan (review coming soon)
  11. DNF: Torn by K.A. Robinson

My purchased copies

  1. Cinder by Marissa Meyer (Fairy Tales with a Twist readathon)
  2. Meant for Love by Marie Force (Fun in the Sun readathon)
  3. Her Secret, His Surprise by Paula Altenburg
  4. Four Weddings and a Fiasco:  The Wedding Date by Katy Regnery
  5. Breaking Up with Barrett by Katy Regnery
  6. Falling for Fitz by Katy Regnery
  7. Dark Skye by Kresley Cole

I tried to concentrate on my Netgalley ARCS so during this challenge my approval ratio increased by 10%.  This is great (but I am still embarrassed to say what it is lol) and I was really good by not requesting anymore ARCs (but it has been hard).

This was so much fun and I can’t wait for the next challenge.

How did you do in COYER?

Thanks Katherine! It really is frustrating to see how slowly that percentage goes up, it’s driving me crazy lol. But I’ll get to that 80% eventually, but I doubt it will be anytime soon since I added 2 more requests.

Thanks!! Since I was so busy this summer I stayed away from Netgalley. But now I’ve requested some ARCs that release next year, so the percentage is going down and then up again for now lol. We can’t help it lol.
