Weekly Wrap-up 17

Posted August 24, 2014 by Kathy in Wrap-Up / 8 Comments

My Weekly Wrap-Up is my version of The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

This week was so much better than last week.  My car still isn’t fixed but it’s ok.  It’s just quiet when I drive to work.

I can’t believe it’s almost September already and soon it will be the holidays.  Does anyone do anything for Halloween (blog hop or meme)?  I’m starting to look for ideas so I would love to hear what you all do =)

Here is what happened on the blog last week:

This week on the blog:

  • Of High Treason Blog Tour – Review
  • Book Looks
  • Top Off Tuesday
  • Guest Review – Powerpuff Girls

Currently Reading:

Garden of Ashes (The Legend of Eden #2) by Kate Cowan

How was your week?

  1. I’ve been lamenting the end of summer but I also love fall, so I’m not too sad I guess. I hope to see some fun October-y type stuff this year too. One thing that comes to mind is Michelle’s Frightfall readathon over at Seasons of Reading, if you’re interested. That should be fun.

Our summers are really hot (in the 100 degrees) so I am also looking forward to the fall! I’l check out Michelle’s readathon. Thanks and have a great week!!

That is perfect for reading! But I hope it warms up for you to enjoy being outside. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!!

  2. Glad you had a better week. I do remember some Halloween memes last year but I didn’t take part in any. I just did my own feature; you could always do your favourite scary books or creepy movies or something along those lines. Or I’m sure you’ll see the events starting to be talked about on blogs from now on anyway. Seasonal posts are fun!

Thanks Trish! I didn’t do anything special last year so now I’m trying to plan ahead. Thanks for the suggestions!! Have a great week =)

  3. I’m still in denial that summer is almost over though I can already feel myself being more attracted more to mysteries and creepier type books than I am in the summer. I hadn’t even thought of Fall or Halloween-y type memes but it sounds fun! I’ll have to keep any eye out! Have a great week!
