"Falling for Fitz" is the second of five books about the Philadelphia-based, wildly-handsome English brothers who are absolutely not on the look-out for love.

(Except Barrett, who fell in love when he was eight-years-old. And Fitz, who met the girl of his dreams at nineteen. And maybe even Weston, who just doesn't know it yet.)

Fitz English and Daisy Edwards fell in love during one magical summer when they were teenagers. When something tragic happens at the end of the summer, Daisy tells Fitz she never wants to see him again. Despite his feelings for her, he respects her wishes and for almost a decade Fitz and Daisy go their separate ways.

Almost ten years later, when Daisy moves home to Philadelphia, they meet again, and both are shocked to discover that the feelings they had that summer are just as deep and real today. There's a little snag, however. It seems that Daisy is engaged to someone else, and she's come home to get married.

Can Fitz get Daisy to fall for him all over again before it's too late? Only if Daisy can learn to trust the man who shattered her heart once upon a time.

My Review 4

Falling for Fitz is the second book of The English Brothers series and this series just gets better with each book!

Falling for Fitz is a second chance at romance story about Fitz English and Daisy Edwards. I love that Fitz doesn’t share the same characteristics as his older brother Barrett (The English Brothers #1).  Barrett is the “shark” of the family empire while Fitz is their moral compass (acting as the Chief Compliance Officer). Fitz attention to details is great for their company but that skill does not crossover to his personal life. Fitz and Daisy first meet when they were younger (she was 17 and he was 20) and they have a sweet summer romance. The romance ends tragically and at the request of an emotional Daisy they never see each other again. Fitz walks away believing it is the right thing to do.  Being so young he misses the signs that Daisy (and every other woman) wants to be fought for. Flash forward 9 years and the couple are reunited. They must deal with their painful past in order for them to move forward.  Daisy was heartbroken the last time she saw Fitz.  Can she overcome the pain and trust him again?  And can Fitz finally express his true feelings for Daisy. This was a great story!  Not only was there steamy romance but it is also a story about healing and fighting for what you want.

I love that Katy Regnery created an emotional and realistic story. Fitz and Daisy were so young to have to deal with their tragedy and the mistakes they made were understandable. It was nice to see their older versions deal with their past in a mature way (rather than vindictively). Katy continues to write incredible stories with characters who readers fall in love with. She is able to find the right balance of drama, comedy, heartache and romance that keeps me coming back for more!

Falling for Fitz is a standalone but I suggest reading the first book of the series, Breaking Up with Barrett. You will love this series so much that you will want to read each book. I can’t wait for the next book!

About Katy Regnery

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katy Regnery started her writing career by enrolling in a short story class in January 2012. One year later, she signed her first contract and Katy’s first novel was published in September 2013.

Twenty-five books later, Katy claims authorship of the multi-titled, New York Times and USA Today Blueberry Lane Series, which follows the English, Winslow, Rousseau, Story, and Ambler families of Philadelphia; the six-book, bestselling ~a modern fairytale~ series; and several other standalone novels and novellas.

Katy’s first modern fairytale romance, The Vixen and the Vet, was nominated for a RITA® in 2015 and won the 2015 Kindle Book Award for romance. Katy’s boxed set, The English Brothers Boxed Set, Books #1–4, hit the USA Today bestseller list in 2015, and her Christmas story, Marrying Mr. English, appeared on the list a week later. In May 2016, Katy’s Blueberry Lane collection, The Winslow Brothers Boxed Set, Books #1-4, became a New York Times E-book bestseller.

In 2016, Katy signed a print-only agreement with Spencerhill Press. As a result, her Blueberry Lane paperback books will now be distributed to brick and mortar bookstores all over the United States.

Katy lives in the relative wilds of northern Fairfield County, Connecticut, where her writing room looks out at the woods, and her husband, two young children, two dogs, and one Blue Tonkinese kitten create just enough cheerful chaos to remind her that the very best love stories begin at home.
