Dreaming turns dangerous...

Malcolm Rook and Jordan Lane are on the run from powerful forces that seek their deaths. But they are discovered by someone from Rook's dark past. Under no circumstances will Rook allow this criminal to learn how talented Jordan is in the world Darkside. Instead, Rook succumbs so that she has a chance to survive.

Rook has been abducted and Jordan assumes the worst. She's fallen for him and will do anything to get him back. Alone on the streets, she concocts a plan that will take her into the black market of dreams to find help. An unlikely ally comes to her aid, and together they search and fight...one for love, the other for vengeance.

Night's Deep Hush is the fourth installment in the Reveler serial, a hot paranormal romance set in a world where shared dreaming is a new pop culture phenomenon that allows people to indulge their wildest fantasies. But there are also unknown dangers Darkside; nightmares are slowly infiltrating not only dreams, but the waking world as well.

Revel with me.

My Review 4

Night’s Deep Hush is the 4th book in Erin Kellison’s Reveler series and it’s another exciting installment to the series!  With Night’s Deep Hush we continue the story of the original main characters, Malcolm and Jordan.  With the last book, Darksider, we were left with the cliffhanger of Malcolm’s kidnapping.  I don’t want to spoil the story but there was surprising twists revealed here.  Author Erin Kellison does a great job of tricking us and giving that Matrix feel to the story of not knowing what is real or what is a dream.

I really liked seeing Jordan and Malcolm again.  Jordan has become strong and independent. She is also streetwise, thanks to Malcolm’s guidance.  It was great seeing her take charge of Malcolm’s rescue, especially since she is separated from her sister Maisie and Steven Coll.  I also enjoyed seeing another side of Malcolm.  In the first book he was the tough guy, which he still is.  But we get to see a sensitive side of him by how he cares for Jordan.  So it was nice to see Jordan and Malcolm grow closer as a couple.

The thought of people invading your dreams is really frightening to me.  I continue to get amazed at how unique this series is. Now we meet more characters and see a change in the story.  I can’t wait to find out what happens next.  This was a short story but it was very entertaining!
