Curvy, vulnerable Jasmine has never had much luck with men and doesn't believe in true love. When she grudgingly accepts an invitation to her sister's wedding, the last thing she expects is to be seated beside gorgeous, teasing Robert.
Finding herself attracted to the handsome swimmer and won over by his kindness, Jasmine considers letting herself fall for the first time in her life. But, Robert's checkered past may become a problem, even if she can overcome her fears and give him a chance to win her heart.
Based on beloved characters found in Lucy Kevin's charming Four Weddings and a Fiasco series, The Wedding Date tells the story of Anne Fairleigh's half sister, Jasmine Turner and Robert Callahan.
The Wedding Date is a sweet story about young love and I loved every moment of this!
The Wedding Date is a stand-alone story that has characters from Lucy Kevin’s Four Weddings and a Fiasco series. I haven’t read this series but now I really want to. I’m so curious about the supporting characters stories. But The Wedding Date focuses on Jasmine and Robert who meet at the wedding of Jasmine’s half-sister. Right away sparks fly but both have insecurities. Jasmine is insecure because of her weight and how she has been treated in the past. Robert has made some bad choices and feels that he will always have to prove himself. I love Jasmine and Robert because they are characters everyone can relate with. Both are afraid to take chances because they don’t want to get hurt, and we can all identify with that fear.
Author Katy Regnery created a short and quick story that is filled with sweet romance. I’m a huge fan of this author and this story will make you a fan of hers too!
The Wedding Date is a perfect story to add some romance to your day!
