Book Blog Walkers is a challenge developed by Felicia @ Geeky Bloggers Book Blog –for details go check out her info page. I hope you’ll join us, it’s a lot of fun and a great way to motivate each other to get and stay moving!

So here is what I did last week:

Friday 5/9 – walked 30 minutes

Saturday 5/10 – ran 2 miles

Sunday 5/11 – Mother’s Day!! I spent the day with family and also relaxed by reading!

Monday 5/12 – 60 minute Zumba class

Tuesday 5/13 – walked 30 minutes

Wednesday 5/14 – rest (my kids had appointments so I missed my Zumba class)

Thursday 5/15 – rest (it was too hot!!)

The weather has been really hot the last couple of days.  It will be cooling down so I plan to take advantage of that before it gets too hot again!

      Thanks and I hope they had a nice trip! They were lucky it was nice here, since it was raining just a couple weeks ago. Have a great week!!

      I hope you get to try it some day soon. It’s a nice change from my normal exercise routine.

      You should try it!! I keep messing up doing the choreography, so now I just focus on the feet. Maybe after a couple more classes I can do the arm movement too, but for now I just make sure I keep moving (and not trip over my own feet lol).

  1. I’ve always wanted to take a Zumba class – is it loads of fun? I used to do all sorts of dance aerobic classes and had a blast. I did hip hop classes for a while and while I wasn’t amazing, it always gave me a thrill to see myself doing choreographed moves.

      Yes, it’s fun! I’ve done the dvds at home so I remember some of the steps. But the class is filled with beginners so there is no pressure to being perfect lol. You should try it! I’ve done a lot of dvds at home, including Hip Hop Abs, so it is different actually being in a class. I’m motivated to go since I paid for the class lol.
