Book Blog Walkers Check-in 13

Book Blog Walkers is a challenge developed by Felicia @ Geeky Bloggers Book Blog –for details go check out her info page. I hope you’ll join us, it’s a lot of fun and a great way to motivate each other to get and stay moving!

This week I started going to a Zumba class.  I prefer to workout at home because of my schedule but I have been really lazy!  So to make sure I get some exercise I finally signed up for a Zumba Class.  Since I paid for the class it motivates me to go! And it is a lot of fun (and more space to move around).

Here is how I did last week:

Friday 5/2 – 30 minute walk

Saturday 5/3 – 60 minute walk (from doing errands)

Sunday 5/4 – rest day (we went out of town for the day)

Monday 5/5 – 60 minute Zumba class

Tuesday 5/6 – 30 minute walk

Wednesday 5/7 – 60 minute Zumba class

Thursday 5/8 – rest day (I had a bad headache from work)

  1. Great job this week!!! I’ve never tried Zumba, although I’ve always wanted to! This week I finally went back to yoga…I got my walks in and did one yoga class, too. I totally hear you about the whole motivation of going to a class that you pay for. Luckily for me, my yoga classes are at my gym which I tend to use at least 2-3 times a week anyway to walk on the treadmill. The other days I try to walk outdoors.

      Hi Kristin! I had joined a gym a couple years ago but wasted my money since I rarely went. I prefer to workout alone but the class is giving me more motivation. So hopefully I can get back to going to the gym. Thank you for stopping by and have a great week!!
