Book Blog Walkers Check-in 3

Book Blog Walkers is a challenge developed by Felicia @ Geeky Bloggers Book Blog – for details go check out her info page. I hope you’ll join us, it’s a lot of fun and a great way to motivate each other to get and stay moving!

This week I was able to do a lot more exercising. And now I’ve added something else to motivate me to stay on track – my sister is losing a lot of weight!! I’m really happy for her and now it made me re-evaluate my eating and exercise habits.  We are both training for our first half marathon in June, which is going ok for me.  Right now I can run 1.5 miles in 20 minutes but I need to increase the mileage and improve my time.

So here is what I did last week:

Friday 2/14 – it was Valentine’s Day, so we were too busy for me to workout

Saturday 2/15 – walked 3 hours at the mall and grocery (I had a lot of errands that day)

Sunday 2/16 – ran 1.5 miles

Monday 2/17 – rest day

Tuesday 2/18 – 1 hour of stationary bike

Wednesday 2/19 – ran 1.5 miles

Thursday 2/20 – 1 hour of stationary bike

  1. All the best with that goal, hope it works out for you, but even if not, you are winning by exercising. I think knowing others are exercising in this bookblogwalkers group is hugely supportive. I am really motivated by it.

      Hi Kathryn! I agree, it is great to have this support. It’s nice to meet people who are also trying to stay focus on their goals. There will always be days that we won’t be able to exercise but it’s nice to get the additional motivation from this meme. Thanks for stopping by!
