When a storm strands Claire Hanlin in Chicago on Christmas Eve, the last person she expects to come to her rescue is Logan Dawes, the man she almost married two years ago. The chemistry between them is dangerously potent, but with nowhere else to go, Claire accepts Logan’s offer to stay with him for the night.

After a few cups of Christmas cheer, she falls right back into her ex’s arms—even though she knows it means setting herself up for heartbreak all over again.
The magic of the season has thrown him together with the woman he’s never stopped loving, and Logan’s not about to pass up this gift. He’s not the workaholic he was two years ago—his family comes first. Now all he has to do is prove it to Claire, before the snow stops and she flies out of his life for good.

Thanks to a transatlantic house swap, California girl Ashley Turner is finally going to fulfill her lifelong dream of a proper English Christmas. Her holiday plans did not include a sexy stranger climbing into her borrowed bed in the middle of the night. But in the light of day, Ashley can’t help but wonder if Santa has delivered early…
Game designer Oliver Stansfeld can’t wait to leave dreary London—and all its difficult holiday memories—for sunny San Diego. But a freak ice storm and a
grounded plane have forced him back to his already-occupied flat. To make up for the mix-up, the least he can do is show his pretty houseguest where to get the perfect Christmas tree before he leaves.
The more time they spend together, the more their attraction grows, and soon Ashley is tempting Oliver to give in to the spirit of the season and snuggle up for the rest of the winter. As the ice melts and flights start taking off again, he must choose between giving in to the past or risking his heart on a chance at love.

I loved this anthology! The 3 novellas are set during Christmas time, so before I read this I was worried the themes would be repetitive and boring. But these weren’t!! All 3 novellas were unique love stories and were so well written. I really enjoyed these so much that I can’t decided which one I loved more. So here is what I loved about each one:
Tinsel My Heart by Christi Barth is a fantasy romance story. It’s the fantasy of reconnecting with someone from your past, and for this story it was high school friends that drifted apart. The reunion of Becca and Jack in the beginning isn’t a happy one, but the two eventually reconnect and discover they have more in common as adults then when they were in high school. I loved the chemistry between Becca and Jack, and also the community coming together to celebrate Christmas.
Season of Second Chances by Brighton Walsh is about a second chance at love. A storm reunites Claire and Logan after a two year separation. Being together again brings back good memories and feelings, but also brings back the heartache. Claire and Logan have a second chance at love, but have they learned from the mistakes that caused their break up? I loved that this story did not only center on the love between two people, but it also involved the love of a family. I loved that Claire wasn’t just concerned about herself, she thought of what was best for Logan and his daughter.
Mine Under the Mistletoe by Kat Latham is a story about healing. Ashley and Oliver have both lost loved ones. A winter storm (or some might call fate) brings these two together, when they both had planned to spend Christmas time alone. Even though they were strangers and they kept their loss a secret from one another, they unknowingly helped each other heal. I loved that Ashley and Oliver were brought together! And Christmas time in England seems so magical to me so I really liked reading about their trips around town. And of course I love a man with an English accent! This was a great story!
All three stories were so well written that I forgot that they were from three different authors. Christi Barth, Brighton Walsh and Kat Latham are very talented writers and with similar writing styles, so much so that the stories flowed smoothly together. I think Carina Press did an excellent job of joining these authors together in this Christmas anthology and I look forward to reading more from these authors! I highly recommend this anthology to fans of romance stories, you will love this!
