Super Six Sunday #1

Super Six Sunday is an original bookish meme hosted at Bewitched Bookworms and inspired by “Top Ten Tuesday” from The Broke and The Bookish. Check out the weekly schedule of themes here.

Welcome to my first Super Six Sunday post!
This weeks theme is:
6 Favorite Supernatural Creatures

#1 – Vampires
I love vampires!  And one of my favorite vampires is Eric Northman from the Sookie Stackhouse series.  I especially love the 4th book of series, Dead to the World, because this is the book that Eric loses his memory so we got to see his softer side.  This is also when I started crushing on Eric – he is so romantic!  And the scenes with Eric and Sookie are so hot!!!  And of course I love Alexander Skarsgard – he is the perfect Eric!

#2 – Werewolves
My favorite werewolf is Alcide Herveaux from the Sookie Stackhouse series.  We first meet Alcide in book 3, Club Dead, where Alcide acts as Sookie’s bodyguard.  I love the chemistry between them.  And of course Joe Manganiello is so sexy!
#3 – Faeries
I’ve always loved faeries and Wings is one of my favorite series. I liked that the faeries in this series weren’t the typical winged faeries.  These were faeries that easily blended in with the human world. And the story was filled with non-stop action.
#4 – Shape Shifters
I love all shape shifters but one of my favorites are the tiger shifters from the Tiger’s Curse series by Colleen Houck. It’s hard to choose between Ren and Kishan, they were both lovable.
#5 – Valkyries
I love Valkyries because they are strong women that kick ass!!  This is from Norse mythology but they are mixed with supernatural creatures in Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark series.  Pleasure of a Dark Prince is one of my favorite books from the series because it unites a Valkyrie with a hot Highland Lycan (werewolf)!!!

#6 – Demons
Demons are naturally thought of as evil monsters.  But NOT the demons in Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark series.  The demons in her series do kill but their main goal is to find their mate (and once she’s found they worship and protect her).  One of my favorite demon stories from this series is Demon from the Dark. This book introduces a unique supernatural creature – a half vampire, half demon (nicknamed Vemons). The romance story of Malkom (the Vemon) and Carrow (the witch) had me in tears!
So that’s my list!  You’ll notice with this post that I am a huge Kresley Cole fan.  She’s the reason why I love paranormal books!!
Do you have a list?  Leave a link in the comments so I can visit your blog.  Thanks!
